PRICING SYSTEMS
Our quoted prices are dependent upon the project under consideration, and based on the number of
- characters,
- words, and
- pages
.
In Trados/Transit work, our prices are calculated for individual projects or yearly contracts on match or no-match segments.
Costing by characters:
Price calculated per 1,000 characters (including spaces). This is suitable for small projects and is applied where text density differs.
Costing by words:
Price calculated per 200 words. Cost criteria are the same as for characters.
Costing by pages:
Price is calculated on the total number of pages. This is suitable for large projects where text density per page is uniform.
Trados/Transit applications:
Projects in Trados/Transit software applications are priced on,
- one-to-one matched segments having 95% or over similarity to a previously translated segment,
- and non-matched segments having 94% or less similarity to a previously translated segment.
